Modular student accommodation

Student accommodation consists of many identical apartments. The Pacarada Modular Building System is well suited to this: each apartment is built with bathroom, services and fit-out in a factory in Germany and only has to be placed and connected on site.

What the system does for your student residence

• A reliable completion date: Factory production runs regardless of the weather. That helps when the building has to be ready for the start of term.
• Series production saves effort: An apartment designed once is built many times in the same way. That saves time in design, production and assembly.
• Bathroom and services delivered finished: The bathroom arrives as a finished module, the electrical installation as a plug-in system as in the automotive industry.
• Can be used differently later: The components are bolted. Apartments can later become larger homes, or the building can be reassembled elsewhere.

The system behind it: made in Germany

One system, three ways to build: columns and beams for large open spaces, wall and floor elements for surfaces, and finished room modules for everything that repeats. Everything is joined at the Cube, the internationally patented steel node from Pacarada. It is engineered and manufactured in Germany. Frequently asked questions

How fast can modular student accommodation be built?

Construction time depends on size and site. Because factory production and work on the plot run in parallel, the building is usually ready earlier than with conventional construction.

Can the apartments be delivered furnished?

The fit-out is done in the factory. Client and designers decide before production starts which fittings are installed in the module.

Can the building be extended later?

Yes. Further modules or storeys can be added if the structure and planning law allow it.
