Build modularly for a sustainable future
With the Pacarada modular building system, most of the building is made in the factory: protected from wind and weather, with precise machinery and consistent quality. On site, the components are simply bolted, plugged and connected.
At its heart is the Cube, an internationally patented steel connection node. It connects columns, beams, wall and floor elements and complete room modules and supports buildings from one to 50+ storeys. Engineered and made in Germany.
The result: shorter construction time, predictable costs, fewer skilled workers on site and buildings that can later be converted and reused.

From design to installation: how a modular building is made
1. Planning
It starts with your site and your space requirements. We transfer the design into our module grid, coordinate structure, fire safety and building services, and prepare the planning application documents together with your designers. Planning is done digitally with BIM, so quantities, schedules and costs are fixed early. More on the Software page.
2. Factory production
While the foundations and connections are prepared on site, the modules are built in the factory hall: structure, walls, windows, cabling and pipework, and if required the complete interior fit-out including the bathroom. Every module is checked before it leaves the factory.
3. Transport and installation
The finished modules arrive on site by lorry, are lifted into place by crane and joined with the patented node system. Steel & steel is the fastest to install, followed by steel & timber and steel & concrete. Working in two shifts shortens the cycle per storey even further.
4. Handover
After the facade, connections and inspections, we hand over the building ready for use. The Pacarada Group explains the technology behind the building system under Technology on pacarada.de, and you can find the individual components in the catalogue on pacaradasystem.de.
One system for your next project
The internationally patented Pacarada modular building system is developed and manufactured in Germany. Whether you are a developer, a local authority, an architect or a contractor, we work out with you which combination of 1D, 2D and 3D components suits your site, your schedule and your budget.
