Modular single- and two-family homes

With the Pacarada Modular Building System, single- and two-family homes can be built from finished room modules. The modules are made in a factory in Germany and assembled on your plot in a short time. Building a house becomes a predictable project with a fixed schedule.

What the system does for your home

• Short time on site: While the ground slab is being cast, your house is already being built in the factory. On site the modules are placed, joined and connected.
• A predictable schedule: Factory production does not depend on the weather. That makes dates easier to plan and reduces weather delays.
• A house that grows with you: The components are bolted and plugged together, not welded. An extension, another storey or a conversion is possible later, provided the structure and planning law allow it.
• Planned for energy efficiency: Standards up to Effizienzhaus 40 can be achieved. Solar panels and a heat pump can be included from the start.

Every building is based on the same system. Columns and beams, wall and floor elements and finished room modules are bolted and plugged together at the internationally patented Cube. The Pacarada Modular Building System is engineered and manufactured in Germany. It is open to clients, architects, municipalities and contractors who want to build with it. Frequently asked questions

Is a modular home a container?

No. A house built with the Pacarada Modular Building System is a permanent home. The same requirements for structural safety, fire protection, sound insulation and thermal insulation apply as for a conventionally built house, and it is designed and approved accordingly.

Can I choose the floor plan and facade freely?

Yes. Architects design the floor plan, facade and roof freely. The components and room modules are then made to measure in the factory.

Can the house be extended later?

Yes. Because the components are bolted, modules can be added, rooms converted or parts of the house dismantled and reused.
