For local authorities, school boards and nursery operators we plan permanent buildings as well as temporary buildings for the time of a refurbishment. Because the buildings are bolted instead of welded, they can later be extended, relocated or used differently.

Schools and nurseries in modular construction
Rising pupil numbers, the legal right to all-day childcare in Germany and existing buildings in need of renovation put school authorities under time pressure. Modular construction helps because most of the work does not happen on the school grounds: the rooms are built in the factory and installed on site in a short time, ideally during the holidays.
From extensions to new schools
Typical projects are additional classrooms at an existing school, canteens and all-day areas, nurseries with group and rest rooms, or complete school buildings. Because the modules can be dismantled, they also work as temporary accommodation during a renovation and can be reused elsewhere afterwards.
Example: a school with five classrooms
A planning example from the system: a school building with 640 m² gross floor area and 582.9 m² usable area on a 40 × 16 m footprint. It contains five classrooms, two group rooms, two cloakrooms, two toilet areas and a stairwell. The layout follows what the school needs, and the grid adapts to it.
Predictable for public clients
For local authorities, reliable schedules and costs are what count. A modular system with a fixed grid makes tendering and cost estimates easier.
